The big Teddy Bear scare!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everybody! Happy Caterday!!!!! Well I wanted to blog today(it's me Elwood) because I just had to tell you all what happened to my best stuffy friend Teddy. Well we had a horrible scare!!!!! I went to take a nap and Teddy was gone! I searched every where and could not find him. I just could not take a peaceful nap knowing that Teddy could be lost and alone somewhere. I knew he would never just leave me because he loves me too much!!!!!! This is why I knew it must be foul play. Jake said he had nothing to do with it and I believed him because he has a Teddy too and knows the bond between a kitty and his Teddy is nothing to be messed with. ( We both got our first Teddys to help us recover from our "boy" operations when we were little kittens) Well all of a sudden we hear Mommy yelp from the garage! Mommy said OH NO TEDDY!!!!!! Well Mommy was washing the sheets and you guessed it she scooped up Teddy in the process! When Mommy opened the lid to the washer there was Teddy staring up at her! Thank goodness she got him out before he went into the dryer! Teddy dried out nicely on the counter and Mommy fluffed him a bit and he liked that. When I asked Teddy what the whole experience had been like for him, he said all in all it just was a very dizzy adventure but he was no worse for the wear! WHOOOOOO!

Mommy made us ice cream!!!!!!!!

We love Kirby the Dorkie's Mommy cause she always has these great recipes!!! Mommy altered this one just a little bit. This is Elwood writing but Jake is sitting beside me. Jake got a bad UTI once so he is on a special diet so Mommy made the recipe UTI safe. Here is the recipe in case any of our friends have similar health issues or diabetes. 1 can of coconut milk (make sure there is nothing in it but coconut and water) 2 egg yolks and a half of a half cup of apple sauce ( get the no sugar added natural kind) mix well, then heat in small sauce pan on high to med heat for about 10 minutes while stirring the mixture so it does not burn. It will start to thicken. Make sure the eggs are cooked. Then pour into bowl and chill for 2 hours. Then mix, then freeze for 30min, then mix, then freeze for 30, then mix and freeze one last time for 30 and then you have Kitty Ice Cream!!!! Mommy only gives us a teaspoon or so at a time and freezes the rest in a tight covered bowl. We finally have a fun safe refreshing treat for the summer thanks to Miss Debbie!!!!! These are pictures of the process and of course Jake got the first spoonful from Daddy!

Our Royal Bowls!

Mommy found these beautiful new water bowls for us on sale at Belks! We are so spoiled our Mommy always goes out to shop for herself but always comes home with stuff for us instead :0)

Loud scary bangs!

Well our Daddy and his friends like to blow up things for 4th of July but at least we have to give them the 4 paws up (not all 8 cause it was too loud!) for at least buying "BLACK CAT" fireworks hehehe. Mommy says our big brother Dichro was super brave and loved the 4th of July. He would sit and watch the big fireworks with Mommy through the dinning room window. I his memory Daddy lit a pretty sparkler in his memorial garden. It made Mommy and Daddy happy and sad at the same time. We know that even though it has been 2 years they still miss him like crazy. We were good boys and watched the sparkler too but then we hid when the big stuff came out! Mommy kept coming in to give us hugs and check on us!

Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!

Three cheers for the red white and blue!!!!! Our Daddy used to be in the Navy so we are dressed in our Sailor best! We want to be just like Daddy! Have a safe and Happy 4th of July everyone!

Yikes SNAKE!!!!!!

We had a very exciting morning with Daddy! When Mommy was out shopping we found a snake in the dinning room and began to play with him!!! He seemed friendly, any ways Daddy took him away and freed him outside but we was sad cause we wanted to keep him but Daddy said Mommy would say no. We named him slippers cause he was slippery and moved really fast. Daddy research  and found out he was not poisonous and we said "See we told you he was friendly" but Daddy said he could still bite. :0(
